ABOUT
Charlie currently resides in New York City with his dog Margot. After a stint in the music industry, Charlie joined swimwear start-up Solid & Striped in 2013 as the first non-founder employee and helped build the company. He continues to be a Partner in the company. Charlie has a BA in Politics and Italian from Princeton University and an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy.
In the middle of pursuing his MBA, Charlie was diagnosed with leukemia and immediately returned home to begin the near four-year treatment plan. During his battle, he felt called to write. Beyond articles, he is writing a memoir about cancer and identity.
Charlie founded Jackfir, a clean and responsible men’s personal care company. His illness made him extremely passionate about health & wellness and worried about environmental toxins and industrial pollutants in our everyday life. The company is highly certified-clean skincare by third parties like the Enivronmental Working Group.
He is a cancer advocate and focuses on helping others in active treatment and fellow survivors, with a particular emphasis on the issues of toxic masculinity and LGBTQIA+ issues.
